X Base Accent Table
When Anika from Little Free Monkeys reached out to me to collaborate on these accent table plans I knew I had to. I considered building this very nightstand a while back and never got around to it. Required Tools

- Qty 1/2 – 3/4″ x 48″ x 96″ Plywood
- Qty 1/2 – 1/4″ x 24″ x 48″ Plywood
- Qty 3 – 1 x 2 x 8′
- Birch Edge Banding (If staining)
- 1-1/4″ Pocket Screws (Coarse)
- 1-1/4″ Brad Nails
- 1-1/4″ Wood Screws
- Wood Glue

I was hoping you could assist me. How do you calculate the angles on the legs when trying to make angled legs. I have just started building furniture and I notice you do it a lot. Are there specific tools or just plain math? Which by the way I am really bad at.

Hey Gustavo, I model everything up so the angles are measure vs calculated. When they do need to be calculated it will require some trigonometry. Try out this SOHCAHTOA calculator for some help with the angles. http://joyfulcoder.net/sohcahtoa/

Yes I think that could work as well. I have this protractor and it works well
Instructions don’t say, but I assume you use drawer guides for the drawer? Thanks.
No, we didn’t use draw glides on this. Its a slip fit, you can wax them for a smoother glide.
