college storage bed

I have a grand plan in mind for a modular bed that can be easily moved and set up and broken down. It consists of modular “crates” which are boxes laid on edge and when broken down can be used as crates to move small items. I have in mind a French cleat system which hangs the crates on a hinged framework that can be folded up and stored or carried. But the cleat then gets in the way of setting the boxes down to hold items when not in “bed” mode. So if this doesn’t get built, can you still engineer some plans for me???
