So, if you have kids then you understand that you can never have enough toy storage. We wanted to get a better handle on the toy situation in the playroom so we went toy storage shopping. It didn’t take long to stumble upon theseΒ bulk bins from Pottery Barn Kids and, of course, would much rather make them ourselves. So here it went a little something like this…

- Table SawΒ (Optional, but recommended for the mitered rip cuts)

- 1-1/4″ Coarse Washer-Head Pocket Screws

Do you think 1/2″ hardwood ply would work?

I think, structurally it will be just fine. Some dimension may change and the edge banding would require a bit more trimming.
Love the plans. Just have a question. You give the 12×14 dimensions and the angles of the cuts. I was wondering if you could give the overall dimensions all the way around after all the cuts are made? Thanks
Thanks Dave. The bottom edge is 11″ and the top is 10-1/4″. I think that is all you’d need.
Do you have an estimate on what this cost in materials?
