These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at rogueengineer.com (the “Site”) and any products or services offered by Rogue Engineer LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase from this Site. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Accounts

You may create an account to manage your purchases and downloads. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, our Plan License, or any applicable law.

3. Purchases

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (for example, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or violations of these Terms or our License).
  • Your purchase grants you a personal-use license to the digital files you’ve purchased — see our Plan License for the full terms.

4. Free downloads

Some plans and resources are offered free of charge. These free downloads are subject to the same Plan License as paid plans. They may not be resold, redistributed, or used commercially without permission.

5. Intellectual property

All Content on the Site — including plans, tutorials, photos, videos, written text, the Rogue Engineer name, logo, and branding — is owned by Rogue Engineer LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, personal-use license to the specific plans or downloads you purchase. You receive no other rights to the Content. See our Plan License for full terms.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree NOT to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or republish our Content (see License)
  • Use the Site to upload or transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site’s systems, accounts, or databases
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to harvest Content
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend access for users who violate these acceptable-use terms.

7. Liability and DIY risk

Our plans and tutorials describe DIY projects that involve real physical risk. By using our Content you accept full responsibility for your own safety, technique, tools, materials, code compliance, and the safety of others present during your project. The Site and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rogue Engineer LLC, Jamison Rantz, and our employees, contributors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Site or our Content. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site or your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Plan License, Disclaimer, Refund Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rogue Engineer LLC regarding your use of the Site.
