Entertaining Shelf
We turned a blank wall space in our screen in porch to an awesome little serving station! This floating shelf can be used for storage and can be converted into a serving bar by simply flipping the top. It would also make for a great workstation or floating desk. You can check out more of this build on our Behr designer stories.
Disclosure: I did receive compensation from Behr for this project however the design, voice and opinions are all my own!

This is so cool! I love how it flips for the lower shelf! You always have the most amazing ideas!
Thanks Anika!
What software do you use to create your awesome designs?
I use more expensive product, but if you are looking for something free to get started I recommend autodesk fusion 360 or sketchup.
Alright, this is the simplest most bad ass little doodad ever! I love it. Very clever. Mass produce with mounting hardware and sell on QVC!
Thanks!
How would you modify it if you didn’t want the hinges to be showing as it’s folded up? Can you hide the hinges? What about a cover, making it appear to be a closed floating shelf?
Very cool project.
