One day when I was picking up Maddie from the daycare at our gym I noticed they had a block with the marker tips glued into it,just like this one. I thought to myself, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Well I thought this was a good opportunity to share it and it worked out as a great Facebook live holiday build. This would be great for kids or parents and is a super quick and easy project. Enjoy!

How to build a Marker Holder/Organizer
Step 1: Prepare the Wood
Cut the wood down to an appropriate length. Then sand down the edges and corners. Next you’ll need to lay out the hole locations appropriately and drill holes that are the same size as your marker diameter. Ours were 1/2″ in diameter. I drilled the holes about 3/4″ to 1″ deep.
Step 2: Glue in the Marker Tips
With a few drops of glue in each hole the tips can now be glued into the wood block.
Step 3: Time to Play
The marker tips stay in the wooden block so they never get lost and the markers are tip down so they won’t dry out. Plus when these markers run out just buy the same some and replace the markers,
