Wooden Fidget Spinner

Are you a parent? Do you need a way to occupy your kids? Join the club. But really, fidget spinners are all the craze lately and as long as you can keep your kid from popping the bearing out and swallowing it, you’ll find it to be a pretty harmless toy, and another plus is that it never runs out of batteries.

That being said, fidget spinners are pretty cheap and you can find a wide variety of them on Amazon for under $15. However, I wanted to make one out of wood because I thought it would have more meaning and be a cool little project to do with my son.

If you want to make your own be sure to check out the video above, see the materials list and links below, then head over to Ryobi Nation for the full tutorial and templates.

I found the 7/8″ forstner left too much play for the bearing insert, a 22mm bit made for a better tight fit.
