Description

Build a real piece of bedroom furniture in a weekend. The headboard and footboard are 3/4″ plywood panels with a face frame on the front, the legs are 2x4s glued up and ripped square, and the side rails are 2x12s. Pocket holes hold it all together, so there’s no fancy joinery. The king I built cost about $220 in lumber.

Plans for every size: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and Cal King, plus the UK Super King (180 x 200 cm mattress). Build it for a mattress and box spring, or go mattress only with more slats and a center support on full size and up. The king is 83-1/4″ wide and 87″ long, with a 54-3/4″ tall headboard.

Each plan is a 12 page PDF with a shopping list, cut lists and step-by-step diagrams. It also comes with 3D model files you can open in SketchUp, Fusion 360 or FreeCAD.
