Large Mail Shelter
Recently we have been having issues receiving mail. I’ll be the first to say that this is 100% our fault. The driveway has a bit of an incline to it, so in the winter the tiny USPS mail truck (or whatever you call that thing) has trouble getting up to the house. We also have dogs and an invisible fence, so if they are out they tend to terrorize the mail people. Which still baffles me because they see them more often than most other people they could care less about. Nevertheless, some of the packages get placed randomly in the yard, some get delivered and some just get taken back to the post office (which is frustrating). So I came up with a solution that will make everyone happy. A large mail shelter that any mail delivery driver can drop off packages in and keep them out of the weather. Plus, we can place it in a safe zone so our vicious guard dogs won’t rip their legs off. Just kidding, they are harmless.
But to make this shelter official, we enlisted our friend Brynna from Pop Fizz Klink Designs to make a sign that would get the point across. REALLY love this. Not many city folk understand the package struggle, so for a country girl like me this is genius. I am constantly searching for our packages, randomly left where the carrier feels like leaving them.
