A while back buildsomething.com (a DIY project plan database hosted by Kreg Tool Company) reached out and asked me to be a part of their 1 sheet contest to help celebrate the launch of the new circular saw guide from Kreg Tool, the Accu-Cut. I was not only excited for the challenge to come up with something cool from one sheet of plywood but I was pumped for the Accu-Cut since I’ve always wanted a track saw. Essentially this is guide that turns your circular saw into a track saw. And if you don’t know what that is it makes long straight cut quick and easy.
I was leaning towards something simple like a side table or coffee table but Jamie wanted to go more complex with a chair. Then I decided to take it up a level and build two chairs and a side table! All of that for only a $50 sheet of oak plywood. It was tedious cutting out all the parts but the Accu-Cut made it a whole lot easier. Well I hope you enjoy! Be sure to check out the video above if you haven’t already.
