Coffee Cup Display
So earlier this week Ashley from Shanty2Chic asked if I could put some plans together for a coffee mug display she was building and as always I was honored to do so. What a great way to showcase your coffee mugs! If you’re anything like us and the Shanty sisters, then coffee is your best friend and this would be a welcomed display for your home! Thanks Vicki! This one is attached with 3″ screws straight through it and into the studs in the wall.
Hi, I love this idea but was left with a few questions if you don’t mind me asking. How did you attach the hooks? I bought some mug hooks that are screws, but I’m not sure if I should pre-drill holes? Also, how many 3″ screws were used to hang this? And again did you use a drill to pre-drill holes so the wood wouldn’t split? Thanks in advance!
Since this was actually built by the Shanty sisters I’m not 100% but I think they used the screws that came with their hooks. For you I would suggest pre-drilling the holes for the hooks and mounting screws. Also, I think 2 mounting screws are all you’d need to secure it to the wall.
