One day I swear we will be that cute family that sends out Christmas cards… but until that day comes I will just enjoy looking at all those organized little families that send us holiday cards! I love the chicken wire display I made a while back, but thought it would be cute to make one just for the holidays. Not only can you use this for your holiday cards, but it would also be cute to display ornaments.

Step 1: Cut Wood
Make cuts according to the size of display tree you desire.
Step 2: Assemble tree frame
Using wood glue and 1 1/4″ brad nail assemble the triangle frame.
Step 3: Sand and Stain
Using 220 grit sand paper, sand the frame. Be sure surface is clean and free of debris. Using a stain rag apply stain and wipe clean. For this I used Varathane Rustic Sage.
Step 4:
Using the string and staple gun, begin to attach string is a zig zag pattern on the frame. Tie a knot in the first and last staple used.
Next year I hope I will be on top of this Christmas card sending, but I make no promises! However I love getting family Christmas cards and love to display all the sweet families that have blessed out lives this holiday season. Hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful Christmas!
