We built this simple end table to complete our outdoor living set. The tapered legs on the end table give it that little something special even though it is still a very simple build. This outdoor set looks awesome on the the floating deck! In case you missed it be sure to check out how we built the deck along with the other outdoor furniture pieces to go along with it.

Looks like a great plan, I just bought the supplies today – Thanks. One thing though – the cut list specifies the 1/4 be cut into 2x 16-3/4 and 2x 18-3/4 but the drawing only shows using 16-3/4. I think step 2 should be 18-3/4.

I have a question for you. How do the table tops hold up outside? I’m concerned that with the rain and sun that the expansion and contraction of the wood will cause the top to split or warp. Is it alright to screw the boards directly to the base as long as you leave space between the boards to allow for movement?
