We often find ourselves on the front porch watching the kids in play in the driveway and front yard. Rather than sitting on the steps I thought it would be nice to have a bench. I wanted something simple that wouldn’t take up too much space and be able to comfortable sit 2 people. I ultimately decided on cedar which drove the price up a bit however, it could be built more economically with pressure treated or kiln dried lumber.
